The Alaska Mangy Moose is a luxury Anchorage Alaska Bed & Breakfast tucked away in a spruce and birch forest only 15 minutes from the airport and downtown. Our Anchorage B&B offers Alaska accommodations for you to enjoy a touch of Alaska in luxury. The 6000 sq ft Lodge Style home receives visitors with a circular drive, beautifully landscaped yard and raised flowerbeds. Enter through the sitting room/library with wood stove or come and go through your own private entrance to your room off the deck. The house is dressed in rustic pine and unique Alaskan art. You will find comfort with the soaring vaulted ceilings, tile and wood floors, granite countertops, jetted tubs, and large great room with gas/wood fireplace. The 1200 sq ft deck and hot tub is a great place to entertain or to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.

The Rustic Alaskan Suite is ideal for extended stays with 3 bedrooms w/baths , an upstairs and downstairs kitchenette and a private living/dining room. Kids will love to roam in the acre yard with playground, and parents will love the safety of living at the tail end of a dead-end road. Expect to see more horses than autos, and even the occasional Moose.

The Mangy Moose is conveniently located near the activities that will make your Alaska vacation a trip to remember. Take in the exotic culture of the Alaska Native Heritage Center or hike the beautiful, wild trails of the Chugach Range, rent a horse from the neighboring stable for an afternoon ride on the miles of trails in the neighborhood, golf at the Greens on O’Malley, spend a day at the indoor water park or get a guaranteed view of the wonderful Alaskan wildlife at the Alaska Zoo.
